Matthew Wright
Matthew Wright knew Imagination was the right fit for him—and not just because orange is his favorite color. (Actually, it was the elaborate breakfast discussions about Lost.) As senior editor for Association Growth Partners, he works mainly on the print side, though he does dabble in digital.
Before becoming a part of the Imagination team, Matthew was an editor at O’Meara-Brown Publications. He received a master’s from the magazine program at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Because he felt he just wasn’t overeducated enough, he recently earned a master’s in library and information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In the wilder days of his youth, Matthew wrote the nightlife section of the TimeOut Chicago travel guide.
When not editing features while lounging on an orange couch at the office, Matthew feeds squirrels on the way to work, creates critters out of old socks and travels the world (he admits to having a special place in his heart for Southeast Asia). He lives in the colorful Uptown neighborhood of Chicago, across the street from a ten-story halfway house.
