Meet Us

Imagination is the premier content-driven relationship-marketing agency (check out Our Capabilities for details on our products and services). We are custom publishers of award-winning magazines and websites. We are custom media experts who know that strategy is the most important part of a blog, a webcast, a magazine, an enewsletter or podcast.

But it’s the expertise, the curiosity, the excitement and the passion of our employees (“Imagineers,” as we like to say) that got us where we are today.

Imagination has writers, designers, programmers, strategists, broadcast directors, project managers, a motorcycle enthusiast, drummers, guitarists, marathoners and triathletes, published authors, cyclists, sailors, artists, world travelers, swimmers, a comic/sketch performer, moms, dads, knitters, bloggers, a restaurateur, hikers/climbers, chess-players, Cubs fans, Sox fans, an Elvis impersonator, Spygirls, yoga enthusiasts, wine enthusiasts, Scotch enthusiasts and a few more folks who won’t tell us what they’re up to.

This is Imagination’s most important offering: our people. The names and faces and voices you’ll see and hear when you choose to work with us. They are fanatical about strategizing, planning and executing custom media and content programs that deliver business results. They’re also pretty interesting in their own regard.

Our History

Imagination has changed a lot in the last 15 years! It started as a small custom publishing shop: there were three people toiling away in Greektown in an office above a pizza parlor.

Today, we’re a fully staffed (50+ employees) relationship marketer working with some of the biggest and most innovative B2B, B2C and association clients in the country.

Having Fun

Yes, we have fun here. All kinds of fun.

We spend a lot of time together at work, and so we make the best of it (some people can find humor in almost anything.)

For the structured, company-sanctioned kind of fun, we go as a group to Cubs games, Sox games, museums, architectural boat cruises and the like. We have contests to see who can make the best video. And our annual holiday party is a not-to-be-missed.

Then there’s the un-structured sort of amusement: motorcycles in Sturgis, the globetrotting of Heidi-doll, the kidnapping of Bobblehead Jim, the overflowing dishwasher …

Sometimes we record all this fun. Check it out here.

Office Space

Like most businesses, Imagination has cubicles and offices, desks and chairs.

Only ours are better. Beautiful, actually.

Our office is located in a loft-building in Chicago. Lots of windows and natural light. Exposed bricks, beams, and ductwork. A studio built specifically for recording audio/video projects. An on-site workout facility open 24/7 for our employees. A big kitchen.

It’s a really, really nice place to spend most of your day.
