Andrea Scott
Andrea joined Imagination Publishing in September 2007 as the company’s director of talent. In addition to talent recruitment, assessment and retention, she works on employee skill-building, performance management, organizational planning and compensation/benefits.
A Michigan native, Andrea graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she studied psychology and sociology, and faithfully cheered on the Michigan football team. After a brief stint in Nashville working in the music industry, Andrea quit her job, bought an enormous backpack and headed over the big, blue ocean for a few months of glorious exploring through Western Europe.
After 9/11, she came back to the Midwest and moved to Chicago, where she worked for a tutoring organization, StudyPoint as their national director of human resources. Although recently sidelined by ACL surgery, Andrea looks forward to running along the lake and sweating through bikram yoga. In the meantime she is in the process of catching up on LOST, working on her first novel and reading just about any and every book she can get her hands on.
